Originally form Montreal, Diane Fournier now resides in Brossard, Quebec. A self-taught artiste with a lifelong passion for art, Diane creates vibrant and colorful abstract works.

 

While she has always been drawn to the arts, it was in 1988, following an invitation from a coworker to pain outdoors, that this mode of expression became essential to her.  Her learning journey began with oil painting and figurative art but quickly shifted towards acrylics, which offered her the spontaneity she sought.

 

To nurture and further expand her artistic exploration, she engaged with professional artists, participating in various workshops covering composition, color, drawing, sculpture and more.

 

She has a number of solo and group exhibitions to her credit, including one in France. Some of her paintings are part of private collections in Canada and Europe.
